Delete your OKdoc account

Last updated: 10 October 2026

You can delete your OKdoc account and all the data in it yourself, at any time, on the website or in the OKdoc Android app. It takes effect straight away and can't be undone.

Delete it in the app

  • Open OKdoc (okdoc.in or the Android app) and sign in.
  • Tap your initial at the top right to open your profile.
  • Tap Delete my account at the bottom.
  • Read what will be deleted, type DELETE and tap Delete my account permanently.

You are signed out and your data is deleted immediately.

Can't sign in?

Email okdocin@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We reply within 7 days and delete your account and data within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile and your sign-in (email / Google account link).
  • All family profiles you added.
  • Every document you scanned or uploaded, the details read from it and its AI summary.
  • Medicines and dose history, symptom notes.
  • Insurance policies, claims and coverage answers.
  • Saved hospitals and your usage history.

What we keep

If you paid for OKdoc Plus, we keep the payment record — the Razorpay payment ID, amount and date — for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Your email, phone number and the link to your account are removed from it. Any remaining Plus days end when the account is deleted.

Payment providers such as Razorpay keep their own transaction records under their own policies; OKdoc can't delete those.

Hospitals you suggested stay in the directory, without any link to you. Deleted data may remain in our providers' backups until those backups expire.
