Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply when you use okdoc.in, run by OKdoc (okdoc.in), Hyderabad, Telangana, India. By using OKdoc you agree to them.
Information only — not medical advice
OKdoc gives general health and insurance information to help you organise records and prepare for visits. It is not medical, legal or insurance advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor. Always consult a qualified doctor about your health, and your insurer or a qualified advisor about your policy.
In an emergency, call 108 (or go to the nearest hospital) — don't rely on OKdoc.
AI can make mistakes
Summaries, document readings, symptom notes and coverage explanations are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. Check important details — medicines, doses, test values, coverage, costs — with your doctor, the hospital or your insurer before you act on them.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. You may add family members, including children, whose information you are allowed to manage.
- Keep access to your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Don't misuse OKdoc: no unlawful use, no uploading other people's records without permission, and no attempts to break, overload or scrape the service.
Your data
Your records stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide OKdoc to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
OKdoc Plus
- OKdoc Plus costs ₹99 for 30 days. It does not auto-renew: nothing is charged again unless you choose to pay again.
- Paying again while Plus is active adds 30 days to your current end date.
- Use the same email you sign in with at checkout so we can activate Plus on your account.
- Free-plan limits and Plus features may change; changes do not reduce a Plus period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Hospital directory
Hospital, clinic and health-centre listings come from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL) and data.gov.in (GODL-India), plus suggestions from users. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. A listing is not a recommendation. Call before you visit to confirm timings, services and whether cashless insurance or PM-JAY is accepted.
Availability and liability
We work to keep OKdoc available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using OKdoc and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
